About Us
Who we are
Originally started by the East & Central Brighton Primary Care Network, the East Brighton Health Hub has become a joint project with the community and other teams in the city. We are a collection of PCN staff, statutory services, and voluntary sector partners all working together.
Our core team includes social prescribers, pharmacy professionals, mental health practitioners, physiotherapist, occupational therapists, benefits advisor, nurses, and administrative support. We are further strengthened by regular input from external partners including Trust for Developing Communities, Money Advice Plus, Change Grow Live, Survivors’ Network, Brighton & Hove City Council housing services, Adult Social Care, MindOut, Alzheimer’s Society, and more.
We've come together because we deeply care about making a real difference to health in East Brighton.
What we are doing
We believe that everyone deserves good health and easy access to support. That's why we're creating the East Brighton Health Hub. It's a welcoming place where you'll find a range of different health services and practitioners all under one roof. Our goal is to make it simpler for you to get the help, information, and support you need to lead a healthier life. We're here to help you prevent illnesses, manage long-term health conditions, and simply feel better overall.
Why Whitehawk for the Health Hub
We've chosen to set up the Hub in Whitehawk because we know that people here can really benefit from more support with their health. We want to be right in the heart of the community, making it easy for everyone to pop in and get help. We've listened to local residents about what would be most helpful, and the Hub is being shaped by those ideas.
What we want to achieve
Our main aim is to help East Brighton become a healthier and stronger place for everyone. We want people to get the help they need, when they need it, and to feel better able to look after their own health. We're excited to work with you to improve the health and well-being of the community!
